Automatic image generation

During app generation, AppCafe creates images that match your content using Google Generative AI (Gemini). The AI considers the page context, section purpose, and your app's style when generating each image.

Image dimensions

Images are generated in dimensions appropriate for their placement:

Placement	Typical size
Hero / banner	1792 × 1024
Card thumbnail	1024 × 1024
Portrait / profile	1024 × 1792

The system automatically picks the best orientation based on the section layout.

Regenerating images

To replace a generated image:

1. Click the image in the visual editor.
2. Choose Regenerate with AI.
3. Optionally edit the prompt to guide the new result.
4. The new image replaces the old one in place.

You can also upload your own image instead of using AI generation.

Image credits

Each image generation costs credits. The exact cost depends on the model and resolution. You can see per-image costs on the Cost Analytics page.
