Getting Started

Create your first AppCafe project in under two minutes.

1. Sign up or sign in

Head to appcafe.com and create an account. You can sign in with Google or use an email and password.

2. Open the dashboard

After signing in you land on your Dashboard. This is where all your projects live. Click the button to start a new one.

3. Describe your app

Type a short description of what you want to build. A few examples:

  • "A recipe sharing site where users can post and search recipes"
  • "An internal inventory tracker with categories, stock levels, and alerts"
  • "A portfolio website for a photographer with a gallery and contact form"

Improve prompt with AI

By default the Improve prompt with AI checkbox is enabled. When active, AppCafe asks a few clarifying questions (pages, features, color scheme, etc.) before it starts generating. This produces better results and is recommended for most projects.

Uncheck it if you want to skip the Q&A step and go straight to generation.

4. Pick a name

After submitting your prompt, choose a project name. AppCafe suggests AI-generated names that match your description — or type your own.

5. Watch it build

The workflow view shows each stage of generation in real time: planning, building pages, creating data models, and generating images. You can scroll through the steps as they complete.

6. Preview and publish

Once generation finishes you'll see a live preview. Open the editor to make changes, or hit Publish to deploy your app immediately.
