What is AppCafe?
AppCafe is an AI-powered app builder that turns plain-English prompts into full-stack web applications. No coding, database setup, or deployment struggle required.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. AppCafe is designed for business users with no development experience. If you can describe what you want in a sentence or two, AppCafe can build it.
What tech stack do generated apps use?
Generated apps are Next.js applications with React, Tailwind CSS, and server-side data when needed.
Accounts and billing
Is there a free tier?
Yes. New accounts receive free credits to try AppCafe. Check the Pricing section for current plan details.
How are credits consumed?
Credits are consumed by AI operations: prompt refinement, page generation, image generation, and chat-based edits. You can monitor your usage on the Cost Analytics page.
Troubleshooting
My app generation seems stuck
Generation typically takes 30–90 seconds. If it's been more than two minutes:
- Refresh the page — the system will reconnect and show the current state.
- If the issue persists, start a new project. Your credits are not consumed for failed generations.
Images aren't loading in the preview
Image generation runs after page generation. If images show as placeholders, wait for the full workflow to complete. You can also regenerate individual images from the editor.
