Where required by applicable law, we process personal information on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, compliance with legal obligations, and protection of vital interests.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand usage and performance, improve the Services, support security and fraud prevention, and measure marketing effectiveness where applicable. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If required by law, we will request consent before using non-essential cookies.

With your direction

We may share information with third parties when you request or authorize us to do so.

7. Third-party services and integrations

Our Services may integrate with or rely on third-party providers. Depending on how AppCafe is configured and used, these may include services for payment processing, email delivery, hosting, content delivery, infrastructure, analytics, logging, authentication, or other software integrations. When you use third-party integrations, your information may be processed by those providers according to their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations. How we use your generation data

We store generation metadata to provide platform functionality, improve reliability, and support moderation. This includes workflow identifiers, project references, prompt excerpts, generated site URLs, and preview screenshots.

Free Plan content rights

Content generated using the Free Plan may be stored, analyzed, reproduced, modified, and displayed by AppCafe for operational, research, product improvement, and promotional purposes. By using the Free Plan, you grant AppCafe a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works from generated websites, web applications, prompts, layouts, templates, and related outputs.

This may include capturing screenshots of generated sites, storing associated metadata (such as prompt excerpts, deployment URLs, templates, and preview images), and sharing them internally or externally, including within moderation tools, internal dashboards, documentation, product demos, Discord feeds, marketing materials, and public galleries.

AppCafe may reuse prompts, design patterns, templates, and generated structures derived from Free Plan creations to improve the platform, build reusable components, train internal systems, and enhance features available to other users.

AppCafe may publish or showcase Free Plan outputs at its discretion. Content selected for public display (such as in a gallery or showcase) may include screenshots, deployment links, and prompt excerpts. Content not selected for public display may still be retained and used internally for moderation, monitoring, research, or product development purposes.

Users who require private generation, exclusive ownership, or restrictions on reuse should use a paid plan where different data usage and ownership terms may apply.

Ask for Help submissions

When you submit an Ask for Help request, we store your request details, optional budget, email, phone number, workflow/project references, and your support-access consent so our staff can review and respond.

We also send operational notifications about these submissions to internal admin channels to ensure requests are not missed.
